also known as Chris Wireless and also known as Chris Chen Ming Li.

In 1979 Chris started playing drums and guitar with Brett Baugh in the bands:

Cassiopeia, Hydra, Head, Metal Messiah, Contraband, Binaural Cranium and Wolf Pack.

In 1981 together they started Cassiopeia Sound and Stage and began to promote other bands and artists

running: The Washington Smoke In at the Lincoln Memorial, The Fort Reno Concert series,

events at Georgetown's Key Theater, bars like DC Space, The Belfry and many others.

After receiving a Black belt from Grand Master Chao Chi Liu at the Wa Shing Kung-fu Tai-chi School

and receiving the name Chen Ming Li, Chris released The Universe album in 1989.

On the Universe album Chris sang and played ten different instruments.

Then Chris created Laughing Sam's Productions,

recording and producing every name you'll find on this web site.

While fronting the band Universe as singer-song writer and lead guitarist,

Chris also played lead guitar in the jam band, The Omsteders headed up by Jimbo Rainbow.

While recording the CD "Rove" with Kanjia Kroma and Paris Auston AKA Fame,

Kanjia came up with the name Chris Wireless for Chris who played

lead guitar using a custom electronic effect he called "the Ovulator".

When L.A. based Tracy Amos came to Play at the US Capital, Chris played drums.

Tracy's stardom is well established on youtube.

Cassiopeia Sound and Stage is still running shows across the nation after 39 years.
